Produktbeskrivelse

TIG Welder Set - 200 A - IGBT + welding helmet BLASTER

A welding helmet is an essential piece of equipment for welding work. That's why this set includes the BLASTER welding helmet with the S-WIG 200 IGBT welder. Both welder and helmet alike have proven their worth in practice and make a strong team for professional or amateur workshops when the focus is on precision and safety in welding. With a welding current from 20 to 200 amperes, the welder can be used for either TIG or MMA welding, depending on the type of metal and your welding conditions.
During the welding process, the S-WIG 200 IGBT welding machine employs direct current (DC), thus enabling it to be used for almost all types of melting metals and their alloys, including aluminium, copper, nickel, titanium and steel. The torch produces few sparks and spatter and guarantees high-quality welds that leave very little distortion.
You can easily adjust the welding parameters using the control panel. The three dials allow you to exactly determine the current, the down-slope time and the gas post-flow time. You can effortlessly select the welding method and choose between 2-stroke and 4-stroke operation using two buttons. With its powerful IGBT-inverter, this TIG welder is able to quickly switch between welding processes, thus delivering high-quality welds with a very low error rate.
No additional gas is required for MMA (Manual Metal Arc) welding with the S-WIG 200 IGBT, enabling you to use the device outdoors even in strong winds to deliver clean welding results by means of an electrode. The welder's integrated hot start function protects against possible electrode ignitions, as it automatically increases the voltage upon activation.
The device is also equipped with an error display which switches on in the event that the device cannot be operated due to a malfunction, or if the welder exceeds the standard loading period. When the latter situation occurs, the protection mode will automatically switch itself on, and the device will be turned off. This way, your safety is guaranteed.
The automatic welding helmet BLASTER can be used for all common welding processes and also has a practical grinding mode, allowing you to use it for roughing, cutting and grinding work without having to constantly take it off and put it back on. Regardless of whether you're a professional welder, are using the helmet for private projects, or are working in a workshop, the BLASTER combines all the necessary safety mechanisms and stands out for its quality and durability.
The welding helmet BLASTER is equipped with a durable lens. The cartridge is powered by solar cells and 2 CR2450 batteries. The welding helmet works with an exemplary light protection range of DIN 9 - 13. The lens is also an unusually-large 98 x 55 mm in size. By default, the welding helmets from the Advanced Series have a reaction time of 1/30,000 second from light to dark.
The welding helmet BLASTER is made of plastic and can be easily adjusted to every head shape. You can also adjust the distance between face and visor, ensuring that the helmet fits extremely securely and guaranteeing excellent results.

Ofte stilte spørsmål

How do I find a suitable welding helmet?

With this set, you don't need to! However, you can find additional welding helmets in expondo's online shop under the category Welders, subcategory Welding Helmets, where you can browse a wide selection of helmets.

What electrodes do I need for welding?

You can use electrodes with a diameter of 1.6 to 3.2 millimetres for the TIG torch. The electrode holder for MMA welding can hold electrodes up to a diameter of 5 mm.
